The first annexation attempt cost Tryon taxpayers around $
100,000, and CAFA members approximately $30,000. We expect
Tryon's present attempt to forcibly annex neighbors to cost
at least as much. CAFA's Treasurer is a CPA, and we have
opened a bank account to accommodate contributions.
Information on contributions and expenditures is available
to members; however, the identification of contributors or
their contributions will not be disclosed.
